The story

Persiahaus Studio drew a loom seen from the front: ivory warps strung between two wooden beams, the lower part already knotted into a red rug with a half medallion, a row of saffron knots being tied, a metal-toothed beater comb and two skeins of wool, inside a ruled frame.

Three sets of threads and two kinds of knot: what a pile carpet is made of, and what its back reveals that its front conceals. The full story is told in the Rugs section.
