به نام خداوند جان و خرد

In the name of the Lord of soul and wisdom,

کزین برتر اندیشه برنگذرد

beyond whom thought can rise no higher;

خداوند نام و خداوند جای

Lord of renown and Lord of place,

خداوند روزی‌ده رهنمای

Lord who gives us our daily bread and guides the way;

خداوند کیوان و گردان سپهر

Lord of Saturn and the turning heavens,

فروزندهٔ ماه و ناهید و مهر

who lights the moon, and Venus, and the sun.
