The story
From the Iranian plateau, snow on the high peaks is the sign of a good year to come, since the melt feeds the qanats, rivers and gardens below. The snow line is the first thing the eye looks for on a winter horizon.
Persiahaus Studio drew a single broad peak across two canvases on a saffron ground: an ink-black mountain with a paper-white snow cap, red foothills and a lapis sun. The gap between the canvases runs close to the summit, so the mountain is completed on the wall.
